Gen 5 Fertility Research

ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE ASPECTS OF GEN 5 FERTILITY IS OUR EMPHASIS ON RESEARCH.

While most fertility centers focus only on what other researchers think are the “best” treatment strategies, we focus on improving the outcomes of all infertility patients, both those who receive care from us and those who must receive their care elsewhere.

One of the most important areas of research in reproductive medicine today is the use of PRP or EPF for Ovarian Rejuvenation. PRP is short for Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy and ERF is the abbreviation for Enriched Platelet Factors ( including EnPLAF). These two therapies are similar but also have significant differences. Please see our detailed webpage about Ovarian Rejuvenation for more information.

Over the past two years, the clinical staff at Gen 5 Fertility has published several scientific papers about PRP / EnPLAF. Additional papers have been accepted or are being considered for publication at the present time. Below are PDF versions of some of these.

Immediately below is our latest publication, one that provides the logical thinking and some of the prior research that explains how platelet derived growth factors may serve to rejuvenate the ovaries. It is not an easy read. But, because it provides many of the details behind these procedures, it may be worth the effort.
