Shaundré (Shauneé) L. Gouveia | OR Specialist, Andrologist
Shaundré L. Gouveia brings 29years of experience in the medical field. She graduated HS with advancement two years early to pursue her medical degree, with valedictorian honors and Phi Theta Kappa award for honorary GPA.
After Certified Nursing assistant and Home Health certificates, she pursued her degree in emergency medicine and became assistant professor at Fresno college EMT program. After that she joined acute care and worked 6 years for high-risk labor and delivery at UMC (University Medical Center), in which she joined the Paradigm program as a Surgical Assistant. Through this training she specialized in microsurgery, reconstructive, gynecological, and fertility urology. This led to her laboratory experience where she was able to finish her biology and andrology training under the team of lab directors and scientists that established the 5th edition WHO Manuel for sperm studies at UC Davis.
Today she has 20years in fertility experience (11yrs as an andrologist and junior embryologist) from first assist in operations, andrology lab, embryology lab, and patient care/coordination. With her deep passion in laboratory techniques and the advancement of ovarian rejuvenation, she can help you on your journey in all aspects of fertility. She completed another two degrees in Psychology and Social Behavioral Science (she believes that treating the mind is just as important and treating the physical aspect of fertility). Her passion for her career and continued learning in medicine adds to the Gen 5 fertility center of excellence.
